TumTum Tree Foundation is pleased to announce our 2024 Honorary Chairs, Pardis and Chef Frank Stitt. As founding members and generous supporters of our organization, the Stitts bring their passion for hospitality, deep appreciation of wine culture and genuine philanthropic nature to every TumTum Tree Foundation event.
Proprietors of four venerated Birmingham-area restaurants -- Highlands Bar & Grill (ten-time James Beard Foundation award nominee and 2018 Outstanding Restaurant of the year), Chez Fonfon, Bottega and Bottega Café -- the couple are also founding members of the Southern Foodways Alliance (SFA); Pepper Place Farmers Market and Jones Valley Teaching Farm board members.
Frank has authored two acclaimed cookbooks, Southern Table and Bottega Favorita. Pardis is a founding member of the Birmingham chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier and a dedicated long-serving member of our board.
Throughout their careers, the Stitts have developed meaningful relationships with vintners across the globe and relish connecting these producers with TumTum Tree Foundation supporters through private wine dinners and our major auction. In addition to their many professional accomplishments, the Stitts are true community advocates. Pardis and Frank are honored to be a part of the important work of the TumTum Tree Foundation, serving the needs of children in Alabama, a place they are proud to call home.
